Roasted Spiced Almonds
A Swedish classic Christmas treat for the whole family – perfect for cooking over an open fire!
• 2/3 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup water
At the Campsite
1. Roast the almonds in a hot pan, then put aside.
2. Pour water and sugar into the pan and wait until it boils. Add almonds and boil until the almonds start to snap. Stir constantly until all liquid is gone.
3. Remove the pan from the heat and let cool.
4. Wrap in paper and serve!
