Primus is Making it Easier to Explore the Outdoors
Camping is one of the best ways to get out and explore, and should be made easy.
No matter what time of year it is, here at Primus, we value getting outside. But we would be lying if we didn’t acknowledge that summer is one of the best seasons for outdoor fun. Whether you camp to spend time and cookout with the family, or camp as a way to get closer to nature, we think the process of planning a camping trip should be simple and fun.
Camp, Compete, Repeat
For the entire summer, we are taking the mundane meaning out of the word “plan,” and instead making it fun. Each month we are hosting camping contests in multiple regions around the country. The more you pitch your tent at a campground, the more likely you are to be the winner of our regions. To be a contender, you have to leave a review of the campground you visited–knowing what a campsite offers and looks like only helps people plan their outdoor experience.
We just wrapped up our May contest, so if you missed out, you can participate in the June camping contest. This month, we will host our contest in the northeast region which includes: Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, as well as, California, Hawaii, and the Virgin Islands. All you need to do is plan a trip, camp away, and submit a review.
New App Makes Finding Campgrounds Fun
If you need help finding a campground in the northeast region, California, Hawaii, or the Virgin Island, you can search a new app. The Dyrt released a new app which makes finding campgrounds simple and fun. You can find, review, and upload pictures of campgrounds. If you’re planning a road trip, save campgrounds to your trip list so you don’t have to worry about accommodations. With The Dyrt, mapping out your next campout feels less like a chore, and more like a fun adventure, just like the outdoors should be.
We can’t wait to see and share your adventures this summer. Let the camping begin!
