Cook With Swedish Engineering: Carbon Neutral Fuel
When you go camping or backpacking you probably bring a gas stove and fuel to cook your meals. But do you know what kind of fuel you’re using and what it’s doing to the environment? Every time you burn fuel you’re releasing carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere.
In an effort to offset any CO2 added to the atmostphere as a result of our Primus fuels making meals, we made our PowerGas carbon neutral.
To offset carbon dioxide emissions from the gas and the metal cartridge, we support the Darkwoods Forest project.
Darkwoods is the largest project in Canada’s history. It protects 55,000 hectares housing 17 watersheds and 50 lakes.
We love the outdoors and we want you and future generations to be able to enjoy the outdoors as well. That’s why we’re committed to projects such as Darkwoods and the Permanent Forest Sink Initiative to help reforest areas that have seen deforestation, to help keep the fuels we make carbon neutral.
